It’s been 40 years since acclaimed artist Kevin Oxley founded the Hawkesbury Arts Workshop at Hawkesbury Agricultural College, later part of Western Sydney University. Over the years, countless artists from every discipline have drawn on Oxley’s vision while making use of the facilities and classes offered in this idyllic setting. Their works, as well as those of Oxley, are brought together to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Hawkesbury Workshop.

“Through art I learned to see, to notice what is important in all things.” - Kevin Oxley (1941-2016)
