Listen to the Colour of Your Dreams….
The inaugural exhibition featuring artworks by students from Nicolle’s Studio of Art.
Listen to the Colour of Your Dreams… The inspiration of this exhibition is to encourage students to listen to the calling of their creative hearts, using skills and knowledge learnt in the studio to express the imagery, the visions, the colour of their dreams.
The artworks on display are an exciting mix of vibrancy, quality and committed effort. Rich in colour, texture, tone and pattern, a wide range of art mediums, effects and techniques have been used. They are of incredible standard especially given the age of the students who created them.
Part of the studio’s vision is to take artworks beyond the studio environment to a wider audience. This is a wonderful opportunity to offer to students one of the many pathways that their art can be taken.
It is an exciting and rewarding moment for an Artist to have artwork exhibited and one that Nicolle wants her students to enjoy and experience. This exhibition is ultimately a celebration of what has been achieved by these creatively inspired and dedicated young Artists.
Nicolle’s Studio of Art Statement.
Nicolle has been working as an Artist for twenty years and teaching art to children and adults for over fifteen of these years. Recently renamed Nicolle’s Studio of Art, her teaching studio based at West Hoxton is now enjoying its third year. What started as a small group of keen students at the kitchen table evolved into a dedicated Artist and Teaching Studio due to Nicolle’s love for teaching art and nurturing the talents and passion within her students. The studio now offers regular art classes and workshops for developing artists, with student’s art skills and confidence blossoming under Nicolle’s guidance. With classes available for primary, high school and adults, there is something for everyone in this creative space.
