“creative minds, creative actions”
An art exhibition by the customers of the Australian Foundation for Disability (AFFORD), Condell Park Community Participation Program
Creative expression is an important and fundamental right for everyone in Australian society. These young adults with intellectual disability have found a creative outlet through various artistic mediums and they wish to share their perspectives and insights without the limits of language skills or conventional rules that all artists find restrictive.
Using a variety of mediums the group have challenged themselves and been open to learning and self expression in a joyful manner.
Local artist Diamando Koutsellis has helped to provide a means to explore their individuality and creativity helping us to celebrate and appreciate everything good and beautiful in the world through the eyes of others.
